On March 20, 2025, the MIDC hosted Innovation Dinner at a prominent venture capital and public relations firm in Baltimore with Israeli start-up companies that focus on bio-medical technologies, medical devices and biotechnology. Five companies pitched to a room of 40 investors, economic development professionals, Embassy and healthcare experts.
Here were the Innovation Companies that presented their exciting new technologies:
One company created glasses that help eyes from becoming dry due to blue screens.
Another company is technology for diagnosing sleep disorders. Another company developed a laser to regenerate skin for burn victims and those with skin imperfections. The fourth company is an innovative medical device that helps doctors to take 5 biopsies at a time. They are currently in round 2 funding, have contracts with major hospitals in the U.S. and hopeful to get FDA approval by August. The fifth company has developed a do at home test to replace colonoscopies. The technology should change the way we test and treat IBS, Crones and Colitis.
