Grants for New Product Development R&D with the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation
Grants up to $1 million are available for American and Israeli companies to collaborate on new product development R&D from the US-Israel Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Foundation, a joint program of the U.S. Department of Commerce and Israel’s Ministry of Economy and Trade, which the Maryland/Israel Development Center (MIDC) represents in the state.Established in 1977, the BIRD Foundation has invested in over 900 projects resulting in more than $10 billion in direct and indirect revenues. Leading American companies receiving BIRD Foundation grants include IBM, General Dynamics, General Electric, Becton Dickinson, Johnson & Johnson and many more.
