Since our last newsletter, the MIDC has been incredibly busy. As you will read, our focus on attracting Israeli businesses to Maryland continues and we now have over 45 Israeli companies with offices in Maryland. In addition, we are incredibly proud of our economic impact in the state. Over $315 million in economic impact to Maryland in 2024 from these Israeli businesses and almost 1,000 jobs created. The return on investment from our funders is exponential and we are so grateful for their thoughtful partnership.
We are also continuing with events and webinars, as you will read here, as we are tasked with promoting Israel in Maryland and Maryland in Israel. We are also proud of the spotlight we can shine on Israeli innovation – from lifesaving medtech to vital cyber security technology and everything in between.
Despite enormous challenges, we continue to thrive.
