Sparked by the October 7th attacks on Israel, Mentaily was founded from a collaboration between Sheba Medical Center and Microsoft to improve access to mental health services. The company’s first AI-powered product simulates psychiatric screening, triage, intake, and follow-up psychiatric sessions and helps diagnose psychological distress and mental illness, with high accuracy. Mentaily’s was recently awarded a BIRD Grant (US-Israel Bi-National Research & Development) project with the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Medicine in Bethesda and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to improve and scale post-traumatic stress diagnosis among first responders.

Who can benefit from Mentaily’s platform?
First Responders / Law Enforcement
The platform is currently used across multiple government agencies, the MOD, Israeli National Social Security, hospitals, health organizations, defense units, and police organizations in Israel. Mentaily recently completed a 300-participant clinical study focused specifically on police officers and security forces. The results demonstrated over 90% accuracy, including the system’s ability to identify psychological distress, flag early indicators of risk, and raise clinical alerts in cases of acute emotional deterioration. The platform has been tested in real operational environments and is already integrated into ongoing national programs.
The team is collaborating with Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine on PTSD assessment.
Military / VA / Service Members & Families (including children and adolescents)
Mentaily has been deployed and clinically validated with the Israeli Ministry of Defense, supporting active-duty personnel, reservists, veterans, and their families. This includes a 300-participant clinical study in military/security populations demonstrating over 90% accuracy in identifying psychological distress, early risk indicators, and clinically significant deterioration.
Mentaily also supports military families through community-based resilience and rehabilitation centers, and in process of screening and triaging children and adolescents, reaching more than 60,000 youth through large-scale programs.
Mentaily is also a registered DoD supplier and holds an official CAGE code.
Universities / Student Mental Health
Mentaily is designed to help large institutions proactively identify students in psychological distress, prioritize care based on clinical risk, and reduce bottlenecks in counseling and psychiatric services without replacing clinicians. The platform has been clinically validated in high-stress populations through large-scale studies and real-world deployments, demonstrating strong performance in early identification of distress, risk escalation, and triage.
Mentaily also has extensive experience screening adolescents and young adults through community-based programs, reaching hundreds of thousands of youths, and supporting institutions facing high demand and limited mental-health resources.
Jewish Community Organizations / Resilience & Community Mental Health
Following October 7, Mentaily has been actively deployed across community resilience centers in Israel, supporting populations in the south and north, including evacuees from conflict-affected areas. The platform is used to help identify individuals in distress, prioritize care based on clinical risk, and support community teams operating under sustained pressure and limited mental-health resources.
This work is grounded in real-world implementation and clinical validation, including large-scale programs and studies conducted with government and security-affiliated bodies. Mentaily was built by an Israeli clinical and technology team with firsthand experience responding to prolonged national trauma, and is designed to be fast to deploy, culturally aware, and to work alongside existing community professionals.
JCB / Youth & Family Behavioral Health
Mentaily is built to help clinical organizations scale early identification of psychological distress, clinical intakes and prioritize care working alongside clinicians (not replacing them). The platform has been clinically evaluated in two studies at Sheba Medical Center, achieving over 90% accuracy in diagnostic assessment of mental conditions, and is supported by a multidisciplinary clinical team, including child/adolescent and adult psychiatry expertise.
Mentaily also brings large-scale, real-world experience with youth and families: including screening support for 60,000 children and their families and ongoing work through community-based Resilience Centers, enabling early risk flagging and clinically grounded triage pathways.
Employers / EAP Networks (Workforce Mental Health + Return-to-Work + Burnout + Safety)
Mentaily is highly relevant for employers and EAP networks because it supports early identification and risk stratification across common workforce pain points burnout and distress, acute deterioration, and importantly work-related trauma exposure (including violence/harassment/critical incidents) and post-incident follow-up. The platform helps organizations prioritize who needs urgent clinical attention, route employees to the right level of care (EAP / outpatient / psychiatry / emergency), and support return-to-work decisions with structured, clinically grounded information, without replacing clinicians.
Behavioral Health Providers (Outpatient / IOP / SUD) – Intake Efficiency + Drop-off Reduction
Mentaily is a strong fit for outpatient clinics, IOP programs, and SUD providers because it improves the most painful operational bottlenecks: high-volume intakes, inconsistent triage, and patients dropping out before they reach the right level of care. The platform supports structured screening and clinical triage, flags risk escalation and acute deterioration, and helps teams quickly route patients into appropriate pathways (standard outpatient vs. IOP vs. psychiatry vs. urgent evaluation), while keeping the clinician in control.
Hospitals & Health Systems (ED / Trauma / Pediatrics) – Post-Trauma Pathways + Early Warning + Capacity Management
Mentaily is particularly relevant for hospitals and health systems because it strengthens post-trauma and high-acuity pathways: it can help identify early signs of distress following medical events or trauma exposure, flag acute emotional deterioration, and support consistent triage and follow-up planning, especially when behavioral-health capacity is constrained. This can be useful for ED, trauma follow-up clinics, and pediatric settings where early identification and escalation protocols are critical.
Payers / Health Plans (Care Navigation + Right-Level-of-Care + Preventing Escalation)
Mentaily can support payers and health plans by enabling scalable screening and risk stratification that improves care navigation: members are routed faster to the right level of care (self-guided support / outpatient / IOP / psychiatry / urgent evaluation), and plans can reduce avoidable escalation by detecting early warning signs and acute deterioration sooner. This is especially relevant in high-demand environments where behavioral-health access is limited and triage consistency matters.
