On February 18, 2026, the MIDC, Embassy of Israel, and BCR Cyber hosted a successful Cybersecurity event in Columbia, MD. It was attended by CISOs and influencers from the county and state government, hospital and university systems, and private businesses.
The keynote speaker was the cyber lead at the Maryland Department of Commerce talking about AI in the current cyber landscape. Then, there was a panel discussion, led by the former CISO of Maryland.
The panel included a cyber expert from Open District Solutions, government CISO, and a cyber executive from the University of Maryland Systems. Great insights were gained and the crowd was exposed to what is needed from the industry.
We concluded the evening with pitches from four Israeli companies, solving the complex issues with new technologies. Thank you to our amazing companies for their participation.
