2022 MIDC members are eligible to win tickets to Israel! Must join by June 1st to be eligible for the drawing.
United Airlines is donating 2 round trip tickets to Israel. All 2022 MIDC members will automatically get a chance to win. The higher the membership level, the greater number of chances to win one of the two free non-stop tickets to Israel. The tickets will be drawn at the 30th Anniversary Celebration (winner need not be present), on June 12 from 12-2pm at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Members will be eligible to win as follows:
• Individual ($300) 1 ticket to June 12th; 1 chance to win ticket to Israel
• Business ($1,000) 3 tickets to June 12th; 3 chances to win ticket to Israel
• Preferred Provider ($3,000) 6 tickets to June 12th; 6 chances to win ticket to Israel
• Silver ($5,000) 8 tickets to June 12th; 8 chances to win ticket to Israel
• Gold ($10,000) 12 tickets to June 12th; 12 chances to win ticket to Israel
Inuring a safe environment on June 12th:
The MIDC will continue to monitor the safety practices and protocols, recommended by the University of Maryland, Baltimore, the City of Baltimore and CDC guidelines at the time of the event. All guests planning to attend the 30th Celebration are highly encouraged to be fully vaccinated, wear masks when not actively eating or drinking, and to practice social distance. If you or anyone in your family is not feeling well, please refrain from attending.
The Elm Ballroom is over 4000 square feet and we will have plenty of room to spread out. All servers will be wearing masks.
Event Details: The Maryland/Israel Development Center (MIDC) is approaching exciting milestones in 2022, its 30th anniversary as well as the retirement of its longtime Executive Director Barry Bogage. We will recognize these extraordinary achievements at a celebration on Sunday, June 12, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the University of Maryland, Baltimore Elm Conference Center. Howard R. Feldman and Lynn Shapiro Snyder are co-chairing the 30th celebration.
Barry Bogage Maryland/Israel Business Development Fund:
This is a special year for the MIDC, and we are creating a very special Endowment Fund, recognizing Barry Bogage’s strong and exceptional professional leadership these past 30 years. The Endowment Fund will spin off additional monies to promote new business development initiatives for Maryland and Israeli entrepreneurs.
