Criteria

MarketReach America is targeting Israeli start-up companies that have shown creativity in technological innovation, a management team with a track record of entrepreneurial success, international business experience, and have received preliminary market validation through initial sales, private sector investment (not just government funding), or industry awards or recognition. Specifically:

• Medical device or digital health company
• Company must have a working prototype
• Company must have raised private sector funding, not just government funding
• Must speak English

Application Process

• Fill out application from Maryland/Israel Development Center website. Click here to download the application.
• Preliminary interview by Maryland/Israel Development Center’s Israeli representative
• Face to face interview by Maryland/Israel Development Center Executive Director and IIA representative
• Skype interview with selection committee including MIDC, IIA, Maryland Department of Commerce, and NSF certified ICorps program managers for final selection

Cost

• 75% subsidy for $20,000 value
• Only $5,000/person, includes:
  • Three day entrepreneurial training program in Israel with NSF certified I-Corps trainers
  • A two-week intensive “Customer Discovery” program in Maryland
  • Eight-week remote Product Pivot and Launch follow up program in Israel
  • Airfare, round trip between Israel and Baltimore (economy class)
  • Lodging in Baltimore for Customer Discover trip
  • “Launch Pad Central” software
