Amerex participated in the MIDC’s trade mission to the Israel Biomed Conference and gained new customers as a result.
HemaClear of Israel – Meet Potential Customers
The MIDC introduced HemaClear, developers of specialized bandages for emergency medicine to hospitals throughout Maryland and received order from four hospitals.
BioCancell and the University of Maryland Medical Center – Conduct Clinical Trials
BioCancell, developers of cancer diagnostics, met physicians at the University of Maryland Medical Center during the MIDC’s MarketReach America program. They received a BIRD Foundation grant to conduct clinical trials for FDA approval.
Maryland/Israel Trendlines Fund and LapSpace – Invest
To support the growth of Israeli high tech companies, the MIDC established a venture capital fund with The Trendlines Group, Israel’s most active investor in startup companies. The fund raised $4.3 million and invested in 12 Israeli companies.
