The American University Kogod School of Business operates several academic and experiential programs in Israel. These programs include the Summer International Incubator, a collaboration between Kogod and COMAS (College of Management-Academic Studies) in Rishon LeZion tailored for graduate and undergraduate students interested in global entrepreneurship. Kogod also undertakes live international consulting projects in Israel, organized around small MBA teams working with Israeli corporate partners on critical business problems. In fall 2015, a team of Kogod MBA students collaborated with early stage Israeli biomedical companies to formulate U.S. market entry strategies.
Another group of Kogod MBA’s will be traveling to Israel in fall 2016 on a follow up engagement with VoiceItt, which is developing a mobile application for speech-impaired persons. The MIDC played a key role in introducing Kogod to VoiceItt and other biomedical startups in Israel.
